A listener has to listen well and actively in order to receive the entire message the messenger is sending. Otherwise the message may be incomplete, misinterpreted, or ignored entirely.

It is important for a listener to listen well because it means that they really care about your problems or whatever it is you are saying. You want people to take interests in you and the things that you say. That is why it is important.

If human beings listen completely well what others are talking, many problems of the world would be solved by themselves. In fact, many problems will not arise in the first place. The misunderstandings, fightings, suicides, sorrows, etc will simply disappear from this earth.
For example, a person borrowed $10,000 from you. For the past one year, whenever you ask him for your money, he spins some stories and avoids paying back your money. Vexed by this, one day you decided, "If he doesn't pay today, I will finish him." So you took a knife, went to your friend's house and asked him to return your money. Your friend started, "I don't have cash but..." Without waiting, you drew your knife out and stabbed him in the stomach. "I wrote a check for $10,000 in your name but you could not wait for me," said his friend and died.
Human relations can well be developed thru good listening. That's the reason why many business organizations are insisting on this.
Then how to listen to others well? It is a vast subject. We will discuss it at sometime in future when we meet again.
Thank you for the opportunity.

A listener should listen well because it is a problem of manners.
When people talk to you, you should listen well because it means you respect the people.
If you don't listen well, you might misunderstand what the people intend to tell you !
At that time, that people will angry with you and he might not share a problem with you again !

You must listen well in order to be able to comprehend (understand) what the speaker is saying. By listening you will also improve your vocabulary...you will make it better. You will learn how to say the words right. Good for you for trying to learn.
