im looking for a 1920-50's
play/dialogue/script which talks about trams/streetlife ect its for an assessment please help!!! thanku for any suggestions!!!

Dont know if it is what you're looking for but "An Inspector Calls" by J.B Priestley was written in 1945, although it is based in 1912. Its really about a middle class family, who have to learn moral values, but they are all linked to one girl, who lives a hard life on the street and they haven't treated them aswell as they should have, and an inspector comes to question them. I hope it helps, its not exactly about trams/streetlife as such but more the society in those times!! its just a suggestion!!

I`m not too sure on the era...or story to be honest. But have you looked at "Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennesee Williams. Failing that there is "Meet Me In St Louis", a musical which features The Trolley Song (trams).
