i live in MN and i am 18 in high school. dont know fractions, cant multipy and can read at a 6th grade level. i dont need comments on that but i need a place OTHER THEN THE HUGE COMPANYS(sylvan and other places like that) that will help me with basic math and reading and writting and spelling. thank you.

I will teach the subject first time and my supervisors force me to find some activities or experiment about it But it's too hard to find any experiment about this subject for the kids. If anybody can help me,this will be great.

I currently teach Spanish to Spanish speakers and my background is all Spanish Linguistics. I love to read but don't know much no HOW TO TEACH literature. I am a high school senior, in an enriched english class, and I have to teach my class for 40 minutes about my poet, William Wordsworth. I wanted to do something creative with the class, like an activity to make learning about him fun and interesting. But I can't think of any ideas. I wanted to do something with his writing influences (depression from life events, death of family members, lost loves, and also the love of nature and the beauty of it). If anyone has any suggestions of what I can do for an activity, please help!

Should it be allowed at all?
Should there be a second, academic assignment for those who cannot afford to go/buy it or those who have other things that they must attend?

Is extra credit like this a violation of an Equal Opportunity policy that exclaims that it includes people of varying economic backgrounds?
Do teachers in public schools have a right to offer extra credit in this fashion?

If you had your way and could decide on what discipline courses todays schools could use, what would they be and how would you impliment them.
Would you go back to the old ways or try to find a radical new way to keep order in our schools.
