use a jazz chant or chanting lesson that uses grammar from a christmas story. if it's too wordy, break it down.

or you could show them a short movie or clip about the christmas story and then have them act out some of the main points (LEA)

You could always stick to the original Christmas Story. There's plenty of visual aids you can get. Plus, you can put the spin on it saying "This is why you see nativity scenes." I'm assuming they are immigrants and don't know much about Christianity.

Another option is the poem "Night Before Christmas." It's a classic and you could have discussion with it.
