I'm the shyest person in my whole grade (probably not an exaggeration). My face gets red really easily. I don't have confidence in myself. What are ways that I can keep calm?

Practice your speech in front of friends/family first. They will give you good practice and help suggest things you might not have noticed like you're moving your hands around too much.
Put the speech in perspective. Talk as though your speech is the most important thing in the world and you need to get out there and let the world know what you have to say.
You are too focused on what people will think and truthfully no one will really remember.
Also practice daily visualization of your perfect speech. Imagine over and over how well it will go. Don't negativity into your mind. And just do it! Turn your fear into a nice rush.
Everything will go okay.

Practice in front of the mirror until you have the presentation memorized. Then practice in front of family members and/or friends. As you practice take deep breaths and control your breathing. If you forget something or feel an um or you know, or some other 'filler' word or phrase coming out, stop, pause, and then say what you need to say. The pause will seem like forever to you, but will not be noticed by those you are presenting to. Remember, anyone else presenting is also nervous, and the more you do it the more natural you it will become.

And most of all, learn to enjoy yourself. Pick topics you find interesting or that are fun for you to present to others.

Everyone has given pretty good answers. My advice is: keep it interesting and most importantly: Know the material! Practice it until you know it thoroughly. I've sat through probably hundreds of PP presentations, and nothing is worse than realizing the speaker doesn't really know the material or it's full of awkward pauses. Lastly, I cannot stand it when the speaker reads the presentation word-for-word. Whenever I do them, I'll display the main points of the topic, then give additional info about the subject by talking to the audience. Good Luck!

Practice your presentation over and over before you have to give it to the audience. Do it in front of a mirror, your dog, and then your family or friends. Tell them to clap for you no matter how much you bomb--you're just practicing anyway.

Then on the day of the presentation, breathe and stand tall. Walk straight to the front of your class, own the space you're standing on. You are a voice in this world and you have something to say. It's ok that you lose confidence in yourself sometimes, we all do. The trick is to pretend that you're confident and self-assured. It's all in your posture. Don't slouche.

Look at it this way: you gave your attention to the other people who made presentations--the least they can do is to do the same for you.

What grade are you in and what type of presentation is it? I would recommend lots of practicing. If possible, I found this to be easy-make a PowerPoint presentation and just read notes from it and add a few extra comments here and there as you speak. You will look like you know what you are doing and have something in front of you as you speak, to take the attention off you. This really helped me.

Practice at home in front of a mirror. Practice with your mom, dad or a classmate. The more comfortable you are with the material, the easier it should be for you.

Breath, focus, and remember, this is your chance to be heard, to shine. Take advantage of it, because the older you get, the less chances you're given.
