my french teacher wears this REALLY REALLY REALLY strong perfume and when i walk in the classroom its SO strong

anyways, i tend to get really bad headaches and migrains (so does my mom it runs in the family) and sometimes this perfume makes me feel nausia or even faint !!

i talked to other people in my class about it but no one else has noticed and they all said it would be way too rude to go and tell her to change her perfume......which i thought aswell.........

SO WHAT CAN I DO????????

has anyone got any ideas or been in this situation? anything PLEASE!!!!!!!! it makes me sick!!!

also if there are teachers out there.........what would you think if some one came to you about this? is there a POLITE way to tell my teacher her stinky perfume makes me sick???
thanks guys x

I teach middle school students and I've been told that it's great to develop a rapport with your students, however I am finding that the students see me as a 'friend' - this leads to behaviour issues. What's the difference? Any advice from other teachers would be wonderful.

My daughter is 2-1/2 years old, going on 6... She's very interested in learning to read and has long since mastered consonant and short vowel sounds. She is successfully reading 3 letter phonetic words. What is the next step? I want to make sure that I'm going in the proper order so that I don't screw things up when she starts going to school. I know how difficult it can be to relearn how to read. I don't want to stop her from learning since she seems to be ready and she is very excited about learning to read. Serious, informed answers only, please.

My teacher is very religous and in class she tries to relate everything to the bible and forces us to memorize certain things in the bible.

Should I tell my parents?
Isn't something like this illegal or something?
I really need help because I can't memorize this stuff at all so I am failing the class. =(

For my child's kindergarten teacher. I only want to spend about $10 - $20 on a gift because we've already donated a good chunck of change to contribute to the class gift. I figure teachers already get lots of things like coffee mugs, body lotion/bath sets, etc. Cna anyone give ideas on useful or interesting things a teacher might like as a birthday gift that aren't overly expensive?
Thanks in advance for all replies.

hey guys. ughh, im kind of in a confused situation. ok, so this is how it goes down. when im grow older and graduate from highschool [im a freshman] i want to be able to go to UCLA Korean Studies. but then, im kind of scared. like last year i was definite that i wana go there bcz my goal is to be an english teacher in korea. i love everything about that culture and stuff. the music, the movies, etc etc. but they dont have korean classes here in san jose, only japanese classes. so im scared that when i go to the UCLA i'll just stay longer there since i dont have a complete learning about the language. i can say a few words but i can understand more. so yeah.. so i was wondering maybe i should give up that dream and study japanese and become a an english teacher there instead of korea. ugh i dont know what to do >__< because im more into the korean culture [no offense] and i don't want to grow up and have regrets about not taking the dream that i wanted to have... can you guys help me?
