I will be taking my teacher certification exams for the state of Florida next year. If I move to another state, do I have to get re-certified under their requirements and if so, how do I do that? Thanks in advance.

You can also check within the region or district to which you are applying. If that particular state's districts need teachers, the possibilities are endless for landing a position and meeting the certification requirements within a certain limits. Good Luck!

Check with the college you attended. Some are certified by a national board. If so, you can teach in any state without taking their certification tests. Otherwise, you do.
