We have a Social Studies test today. But me and my friend weren't at school Last Monday, Tuesday, and Wednsday to get the questions to study. And We didn't have school last Friday. what do we tell my Social Studies teacher? I want to pass this test.

Our school started a school called as IIT OLYMPIAD.
The Timing is 7AM to 7PM and the transport is self transport.
they conducted a test and I got seat in it.They say the stress at there is more.And some say your future will be good if I go and study there.All my friends went there and they joined.If i stay in my preivious school i would be left with dullers and even if I study or not study i will get first rank.
So what I should do.
Do i accept to join or shall i say no to joining the school

ok well, im repeating 9th grade sadly, my first attempt i was just being stupid and deciding i dont need school and blah blah blah, i was going through issues, but this year, the first half i was doing the same thing, idk what came over me, until mid way through the year my mom put me on meds, but now im trying so damn hard in school, i need to pass because if i dont i will get disowned in my family basically, so i managed to be passing most of my classes but 1 math, all my classes ive done every assignment asked of me, stayed after school, not goofed around in class, but in math the teacher refuses to pass me, i havent missed a assignment, i do have a math problem it takes me well over 2 hours to do a nights homework of math, , my teacher refuses to read my IEP, i try to talk to her and she yells at me, i told her i am trying as hard as i am, and she says try harder, idk what to do the year is coming to an end and i have to have both over a C in my class and final to pass for the year

Her father is living outside our home. He provides no support for our 12 year old or our 8 year old boy. Our boy does good in school but our girl has gotten zero´s. The teachers say she does not do her homework.

One of my teachers sent out an email that said "Your grade is determined by the virtue of how you did in hws/projects/exams."

Does "virtue" possibly mean that if I had all A's on everything except the final then I could get an A in the class? I had like a 99 in the class before the final, which I probably bombed because I underestimated it.

Im a high school teacher and children in America make me so upset the way they walk around acting like Im lucky theyre in school for me to teach. I have a few students from other countries who say the level of disrespect kids have for teachers here is amazing! I wish punishment in schools was stronger and that education was a privilege for children who actually work for it! Im not saying it should be something that can be bought, but something that requires some effort on the part of children.......How do you feel??

My daughter is a college bound A-B student and although she's a sophomore I would have liked for her to take the SAT this year just to experience it plus she is finishing World History and I thought it was best for them to take the section test soon after finishing the class. I didn't go to college and I don't know how things are done and I just found out that yesterday was the last day to register for the test! AND that was late registration for an additional fee! Now she can't take it until October! I've had to get on this counselor a few times to call my daughter in and give her some attention, but there are some things I just don't know about without her help! I don't know what else I can do since I've never gone through this before and I can't afford to do much if anything on my own. I've bugged the counselor here and there, but I don't want to do too much so that it will backfire. Any suggestions?
