Each school is different. Probably a C average or above is required. An F will probably get you in trouble with the coach. They might have to kick you off the team if that happens. Some schools might not have academic requirements for joining and staying on the team, other than being enrolled and staying out of trouble. You'll have to check with the coach or director of athletics.

Different schools have different policies. Some schools have no policy at all, some schools require a certain GPA or average.

Since I don't know where you live, it is hard to say. But in the state that I reside in, you have to have a C average. D's will get you on a "probationary" list, and you get a certain amount of time to bring it up. BUT if you fail/are failing at any time, you are GONE.
