I really want to end the year well, and see all the people I love (and I really don't want to sound greedy, but the gifts would REALLY help as my $ situation is not the best...). Should I have a graduation party? and what do you normally do at grad parties anyway?

I already passed my Algebra 1 class this year but I wanted to check if I am right in something. My teacher is the schools basketball coach. He lets the boys basketball players come in and do whatever they want. He always busy and barely explains anything. To top all that off, if I would to say a bad word or skip he would immediately notice and *****. But with this other girls, which always are using their phones, listening to their Ipods saying bad words, he lets them do anything. One of them even charges their phone. To prove how lazy he is, he doesn't put grades in until the last minute. He sometimes makes up grades for assignments not done, such as a quiz that we never took in which he gave me an F.
To worsen matters, I didn't past the math section of the FCAT by 20 points and I think it was his fault cause he didn't teach correctly.

Am I right or wrong? How can I do good in Geometry if I didn't learn anything in Algebra 1?

So basically, I got a 69.4 percent in AP US history 1st semester and my teacher wouldn't round it up to a C. I have to go on a mission trip to Ecuador this summer, and if I have to go to summer school for history then I can't go on the trip. How do I ask my teacher to round it up? (If she doesn't then I'm screwed.)

“The walk to high school” they called it, and as I walked across the stage last June at my eighth grade graduation I didn’t know what was in store for me. That long walk was directing me into my new phase in life. In that phase, I learned so much. Like how annoying it is when people just stop in the hall ways to talk, and when I realized that teachers won’t pass you for your own social benefit. The most important one though, was that I learned that when school starts, friends might not be the same when that school year ends.

Everyday I have the same schedule, and every day on my way to Algebra, I get stuck in the traffic. Just like in real life on the road, there are road blocks, and even though in the halls there are no traffic accidents, but there are the ever-so infamous people who stop in the middle of the hall and talk. This is by far one of the most annoying things a person can do. Not only do people scowl at these people as they walk by, but a lot of times they get picked on or other things. For your own sanity and you classmates sanity, don’t stop to talk in the halls! Why people can’t wait till after class I don’t know.

In elementary school and in middle school, teachers always seem to pass students who are disruptive and who don’t do that work. When those kids get to High School, they will be in a shock because in High School, if the work isn’t done, you’ll stay in that grade and class, till the work is done. Classes next year for the kids who failed will be filled with under classmen. Also when you’re older, the freshmen seem to be even more obnoxious, and being in a class with them would be terrible. Its not that hard to do work, just pay attention, and maybe your classes wont be filled with the fish’s we call freshmen.

Friends are irreplaceable, and they can influence who you’re going to be. In middle school friends are very much alike, but in High School, things change, and sometimes they change overnight. It’s not preventable, and you’ll find yourself changing. Some friends may move, some may follow a totally different crowd, some may ruin there lives. Who knows, maybe you’re the friend who may change. Changing is a part of life, and it may bring hardships, and tears, but it will bring more friends, smiles and wonderful memories that will never change.

High School life begins once you receive that diploma. It’s an ever popular time in a teenage life. It will be a change, and continue to change thru out your years, but its all worth it. Talking in the halls is a big No-No, and doing your work is a must if you want to move up with your friends to the next grade. Change is ineluctable, but it’s a tremendous thing all the same. Life in High School isn’t hard at all; it just takes some advice and some listening. Soon or a later, that walk to High School will turn into the walk into the rest of your life, and in High School, you’ll get ready for that walk.

I realize that upon reading the title of the question you are inclined to believe that I am a lazy student with terrible grades but on the contrary I am a very hardworking student with fantastic grades in all of my classes. I get along with the teachers and other students in class and I never get into any trouble or act up in class. I hate my lack of privacy when my parents access my grades online or through grade reports. I have a big issue with privacy and I just feel that when they are looking at my grades or when they look through my stuff my privacy is all gone. I HATE when they look at my grades without asking me. What can I do?

I have a couple of questions...
Should he get a qualified teacher or a student teacher?

I'm doing an essay on how well high school prepares for life after graduation. So far I have"High school has life situation classes that are available. For example: There's personal family development which teaches you how to sew and gives you family advice for the future. Also, home making which teaches you how to cook." I'd really appreciate some help! Thanks!
