I was searching colleges online, I came across a school that is very high on my priority list (Texas at Austin). One of the things it mensioned as "Very Important" was 'Rigor of Secondary School'. My dad and I were guessing, he didnt know what it was. My best guess was that it had something to do with the prestige of the high school I go to now. Does anyone know, 100% sure what that term means?

Upon handling events that may interrupt plan, one must think of the quote “academic comes first”. When an event unexpectedly arises, one must consider the opportunity cost they are giving up. If one is finished with all the readings and homework, one may attend the event. However, if one is not finished with all readings and homework, one must pass up that opportunity of attending that event. If the opportunity cost is worth giving up then proceed if not, then avoid.

I'm not sure if I want to take a sociology course. What is it really about? I know it has to do with people and their relations. In you opinion, is it something that can boost your average, like a high mark (high 90s) if you worked hard? (compared to biology for example)

Well to start it off, I am in the 10th grade and HATE highschool, it's rough and gets on my nerves. I never thought I'd contemplate "dropping out" until today, when someone told me of this idea. (Just an FYI I'm not some trouble maker/stoner kid, I enjoy learning... I just hate highschool ok). A couple friends told me that you can drop out of highschool and when your 18 go in to get your G.E.D (Which my brother did as well and is now in the army). But they said there is a special program thing where you can get your G.E.D and then go to a communite college for 2 years, then when those 2 years are up you can continue on into a university for 2 years if you choose to do so... this sounds like a great idea! I'm 16 now and for thee 2 years (until I turn 18) I could work and gain some money for college. Then do that program as they said. I want to become a pharmacist. But is this true... could I do this and still get a decent job that is pharmaceutical? Or would this scrw up my life
