I already have a master's degree in physics. Since I'm having trouble finding employment, I've been considering teaching high school physics or math. It seems that there is a lot of need for quality high school math and science teachers these days. What steps would I need to take to become certified? Would I have to spend a lot of time going back to school for education classes? Would it be worth my time, effort, and money to go back to school?

This may seem like a stupid question, but the thing is I live in Spain at the moment, and I'm studying ESO(which is basically compulsory secondary education), but I'm moving to the UK next year, and am going to be in Sixth Form. My question is, will I have to do GCSE's in order to be accepted, even if I've passed everything in Spain? Or will being qualified with my Spanish Studies be enough for me to do A-levels (I'm bilingual so the language shouldn't be a problem)?

Ok, I'm in eighth grade.
All my older sisters and brothers are super smart. They ALWAYS get 3.8 or higher. It doesn't even seem like they struggle in any subject.
Unfortunetly, I'm not the same way. I always recieve 1 C on my report card from one subject and I get a 3.0-3.2 for my G.P.A.
My problem is I struggle for every subject. MOSTLY MATH!
I had a math test and the day before my sister helped me study for it, and we studied together for over an 1 and a half. I nailed everything. I was so excited to go to school the next day, because I wanted to show my teacher how I WILL get EXCELLENT grades from now on. I thought I did great on the test.
When I recieved it back I got a 70%. I was so dissapointed I started crying real bad. Why is this so hard for me. For everyone in my family and all my friends its soooo easy for them.
What do I do?
I CAN NOT DO THIS NEXT YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL! PLEASE HELP ME! PLEASE!

I am considering dressing my 4 yr old daughter as a fairy princess (unless ofcourse I get a better idea from answers.com!) for a fancy dress competition... The kids have to also say a poem or sing a song pertaining to the item tehy are dressed as. Can you suggest any ideas of what poem she can recite or which song she can sing which would be appropriate?

My sister teaches 3rd grade in a private school and has a student who has unusually high-level math abilities. My sister is smart, but no math whiz, and she doesn't know how to go about teaching him, since he is so far ahead of the rest of the class. Are there any good resources for someone in her situation?

so like, I'm writing a letter of forgiveness to my principle so when my mom goes and appeals the discipline she has chosen to give me, I might have a better chance of her dropping it.. [18 weeks of behavior school for asking if the deans were dating] .. could someone give me an example of how to write the letter and what to say in it.. like what I will do better and if i screw up one more time i will gracicously walk to that behavior school on my own.. and telling them that it wont hurt to give me one more shot and stuff like that, can someone give me something to write or the form of how to write it???
