I know - neither is Mel Blanc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mel_Blanc either - how can they not mention the name of the man who gave us the voice of Bugs Bunny and Barney Rubble - it must be those darn communists. More likely it simply the fact that most publishers of high school history books care more about the keeping history books within a budget than actually producing a well documented work of history. I'll let you decide that one.

Good Luck!!!

Because most of the americans are stupid and brainwashed by political correctness. After living in US for 30 years I am just totally amazed how political correctness and liberal policies destroyed this great nation. That is why we are losing war in Iraq. Solzhenitsyn saw it and that is why he left and went back to Russia.

Good question. If you have read him you are way ahead of most adults.

Solzhenitsyn writes about a time in Soviet history that most Americans have either forgotten about or would like to forget about.

I lost a great-uncle to Soviet paranoia, so it's a bit personal to me.
