hi! make sure you study well in advance for your exam/test.
also, emlpoy this method:
1.revise all that you've learnt in class throughout the week, in the weekend. all subjects!
2. The next weekend, revise all things from the previous week + this week. Try and recall what you learnt last week. When you do, only then move on to the current week.
3. and so on..
this will help in your problem of recalling things. (just a last pointer, dont just learn your notes, understand them! relate them to real life things. this will help u truly understand them, and u will be able to recall them faster as u have first-hand experience)
and if it's something you find boring, call up your friends and try to learn through a fun activity, but study together, not play!
enjoy studies!

Everyone has a specific learning style. God made each of us unique. Some learn best visually. They read books or view notes and they're good or "golden" for the test. Others are audible learners. They listen intently to lectures or explanations. They actually read aloud to be able to recall facts later or have someone grill them for a test, in which their own response is audible. Still others are Kinesthetic learners. Meaning, they are more physical. If they can do it... they know it. They would rather put something together on their own (like a bookcase) without the aid of a manual. This is what I am. I am very handy and logical, BUT when in college I had to go the distance with my study habits. I had to rewrite all my notes and use different color highlighters, organize note cards and folders. I used Post-It flags in my texts and so on. This was more for the act of movement. In other words, when I had a question on a test, I could visually locate the answer my remembering where to find the answer in my text or highlighted note cards. Once you realize HOW you learn best you can focus on that type of learning.
Hope this helps! Good luck. (PS something is wrong with ALL of us... which makes us all perfectly normal... and human)

Anxiety can cause this. Same thing used to happen to me. The fear of not remembering actually made me forget what I had learned. If you studied hard and you know the answers at home when you're comfortable, then I would simply make myself relax in the school/testing environment. Take a deep breath and tell yourself that nothing can be so bad. What could happen to you? You still have your freedom and your life. Think of the good things. Can you confide in your teacher? Try not to think of the time you have to do the work, focus on the question in front of you. If you don't know it, move on to the next and get back to this one if you have the time later on. Force yourself to black out your surroundings and try to visualize the answer.

That used to happen to me all the time, you have test anxiety. You need to learn how to relax , maybe even learn how to meditate. Before you take a test close your eyes, relax and convince yourself that all the infomation you studied is in your head and readily available to you. This worked for me in the Army as a nuclea biological chemical warfare specialist and in college as a therapist.
