This may seem like a stupid question, but the thing is I live in Spain at the moment, and I'm studying ESO(which is basically compulsory secondary education), but I'm moving to the UK next year, and am going to be in Sixth Form. My question is, will I have to do GCSE's in order to be accepted, even if I've passed everything in Spain? Or will being qualified with my Spanish Studies be enough for me to do A-levels (I'm bilingual so the language shouldn't be a problem)?

Hello there why not try this website. Send them an email with your question and they should be able to give you a satisfactory answer. uk.careers.yahoo.com

The Education system in the UK can be confusing for people from other countries and often it is the local education authority in the area in which you move to who will stipulate whether you will need GCSE or standards grades in Scotland. However, your present education standards will to be taken into account before a descision is made.

To be sure try the website I mentioned.

All the best and I'm sure you will do well. You seem to have your head screwed on.

GCSEs are not necessarily a requirement for A-level candidates but you will have to convince the education authority that your standard of education is such that you would have a good chance of achieving an A-level pass.

GCSEs or equivalents are compulsory (the 'or equivalents' is important). Scottish pupils with Standard Grades can move on to A-Levels, so I see no reason why Spanish qualifications shouldn't suffice.
