My sister teaches 3rd grade in a private school and has a student who has unusually high-level math abilities. My sister is smart, but no math whiz, and she doesn't know how to go about teaching him, since he is so far ahead of the rest of the class. Are there any good resources for someone in her situation?

One thing your sister can do is increase the level of difficulty of questions to that student alone. Or there are many math tools which can be downloaded at this link

Or the simplest would be to talk to the Kids parents and let them know the child's potential so he can study in another advanced grade.
