It's my daughters birthday today so i've had to cancel her party, we're snowed in here, in Birmingham. Luckily i let her have a few friends to sleep over last night and when we gave her her presents i told her that the snow was gods gift. Plenty of fun to be had with her friends out there later!

So far my son's school is just delayed for tomorrow. Hoping they will change that a little later. So far they've called off school Monday-Wednesday. It has been too bitter cold to be outside. We've have subzero temps and wind chills. Today was warmer and it got up to 19.
Well have fun on your snow day!!!! We've just enjoyed staying in and playing games.

No idea, I only have 1 child left at school and she is in another country. No snow here, it's been beautiful though I think we may have a little rain today.
To be more accurate I'm in another country, she's in England so maybe it is.........she'll be well fed up, all her lessons were cancelled yesterday as well.

Yes.We had a letter yesterday saying all schools in the borough would be closed.Ive had to make last minute childcare arrangements as im at work.

nope, there is no snow in Leeds. So my sons school is open. He breaks up tomo though. woo hoo sleep in for us for a week. I cherish these moments x

NOO!! There is no snow in Guernsey. We never get any snow, so we still have to go to skool!

i better phone and check my son is at nursery at 12.30 so will check i kind of hope its off
dam just phoned up school is still on, which means i will have to walk there even tho i am terrified of falling as i am pregnant gutted
