I'm only going to give the first paragraph or so. If your interested in proofreading the short story after reading it email me at boooooooom25@aol.com and i'll send it you. When you finish proofreading it, send it back. It's due tomorrow so if you could please email the proofread story back to me. IF you just want to read the short story because it seems interesting then i will also send the story to you because... i'm flattered.

In my kindergarden class in the mid 50's, it was tradition to invite all the parents to come see us perform a Spring festival whereby we danced around a giant Maypole while holding onto paper streamers. I found out years later that this was really a pagan fertility ritual. To this day, I'm surprised that this wasn't common knowledge, frowned upon, and, ultimately, suspended. Anyone else have some funny stories from kindergarden?

Im into my 2nd year of highschool and have frequent absences. I always intend to make up the work and do shortly after, but i often get anxiouty about returning. I cant stand the questions i recieve after being out and the looks i get as well. My mother has given me the option of not returning and revieving an alternative diploma (GED) because of the severe anxiouty. Should i just muck it up and refuse to listen to what others have to say and continue my path? Or should i really consider not attending?

Can you please list at least 5 pairs of irregular verbs and their correct ussage which are commonly mistaken in use...
For example...

raise vs rise When used as a verb they both have the same general meaning of "to move upwards", the main difference is that rise is an intransitive verb (it does not take an object), while raise is a transitive verb (it requires an object):

rise (v) Something rises by itself

For example:-
The sun rises in the east.
The chairman always rises to the occasion.
I will rise tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. to walk the dog.
Rise is an irregular verb: rise / rose / risen

raise (v) Something else is needed to raise something.

For example:-
Lynne raised her hand.
The government is going to raise taxes.
They can't raise the Titanic.
Raise is a regular verb: raise / raised / raised
