Hi, Sangeetha. Who can be the best counsellor other than the mother of the child? If the mother is educated and intelligent enough, she can definitely counsel better than any other counsellor. The mother is the real friend, philosopher and guide of the child. A little patience and inquisitiveness will help the mother to find cause of the naughtiness of the child and make the child to divert his/her attention towards learning. You cannot expect a child to study as per your standards. Give the child enough time for play and then try to attract towards learning with a better method of education. Where mischief is, there is intelligence. Mischief and intelligence go together. As time passes on, the degree of mischief slowly decreases because of the increase in the level of understanding. This is a natural process. Wait for a short time until the child grows six or seven years old. If you find still that the child is not interested in studies, then consult a good educational counsellor and seek a technical opinion. Good luck!
