Primary & Secondary Education - October 2006

I am non medical student from India and my my maths grades are less and if i clear my GCSE level in mathemathics i'll be able to carry on with medicine from good london college.
I went to one college and came to know session started in september.what do i do? I dont want to waste this year.
which college start their sessions from january?

My school chose the new prefects last week, and I was not chosen. I was made a Junior Prefect prior to the election, which means that I was nominated as Prefect.

My problem is not the fact that I wasn't chosen, it is actually about the people that were infact chosen. Most of them are real rubbish, and does nothing for the school. . . One of them even only came to my school this year . . .

It feels that I have worked my *** of for 4 years, and now I believe I'm not getting the credit I deserve.

I must say, that it was my grade who chose the prefects, and that surely means that all the popular people get it. . . But Im conserned that I have been removed from the list because I am white . . . Out of the 45 Junior Prefects, 15 were white, but only 3 came into the final 30 prefects. . . Isn't that totally unfair?

How should I handle this? I don't feel like ever doing anything for my school again, as I don't think I get the thanx I deserve . . .

This morning as we left the house for school my son tells me he forgot something...he went back in and came out with a Yu-gi-o card. He says that a kid at school told him if he doesn't bring it, he will "poke him in the head". Needless to say I didn't let him bring it and explained that that kid isn't your friend and you don't give things to "bullies". When we arrived at school, he pointed the kid out and he was staring my son down with a look of "evil" on his face, so and I made him go and tell him (while I watched ) that his mom said no. I was looking at the kid and omg he stared at me like he wanted to kill me. Is there anything else I should do?

*For sure it this happens again I will talk to his teacher
