The 13yr old is in senior secondary 2 (sss 2) Grade 11 i suppose and the 12yr old is in ss1 (grade 10) while the 10yr old is jss2 (junior secondary) Grade 8 the last is yet to start school and since l do not know how texas' educational system is, l'll like some experts or enlightened parents to please furnish me with details on the above. My daughter has been put in a special reading class for "disadvantaged" students, when she is the brightest, and most intelligent kid I have ever known!! all her papers are S+ and E+ I had no clue there was a problem! She is the top in her class in every subject except reading! Please Help!! Her Grandfather and Aunt are both Dyslexic. What are the signs for a six year old? I have looked at the websites, everyone wants money just to tell you what to look for!! Or send you to links that want money!!! I would pay the world if it would help! Just really want to know!!

My 8 year old son was choked at school by his teacher. I went to the board and to the principal and still nothing has happened. I am very furious. I am also upset that the principals and the school board do not believe me nor my child. I also have statements from 4 other kids that stated they watched this teacher choke my child. Now I am trying to keep it civilized with these people but they are working my nerves up. Is there any legal advice that someone can share with me. I am a single parent and I am very concerned. I have had other parents step up and admit that this teacher has hit and pinched their kids. So, I am just trying to get some other opinions on the situation. My child is afraid to go to this lady classroom, because he thinks she is going to put her hands on him again.

My story is about a 15 year old girl, who has a fire happen at her house. She escapes the fire, but her mom dies. She feels like the whole world is falling apart, as she has no mom or dad, no siblings and the rest of her family lives in a country far off. Then, her mother's best friend takes her in and later decides to adopt her. As the story progresses, you can see how the relationship between the mom's best friend and the teen girl grows. In the end, it's a happy ending with the girl deciding to educate children about fire safety and sharing her story.

I made this story up by myself so please give me some ideas for a title...something to do with a fire would be good. Thanks for your help!
