it depends on what that 97% consists of.. if it's just 1 test then you would have an A- or an A if it's multiple things. im assuming that the 10 pts has the same weight as a test.. making that C+ a B+. if you dont calculate it in then you could have anywhere from a B+ to an A-

To correctly answer your question, one must first know how the test weighs in relation to the overall points required for the course. It would also help to understand whether the 10 points extra credit went toward the overall course score, or are the extra points applied only to test scores?

What other criteria makes up your class score? Attendance? Homework? And how much weight does each one bear on the total score? Another important factor to know is the grading scale. What range constitutes an A, B, C, etc.?

If I were to guess, based upon the info you've provided above, I'd say you're teetering between an A and a B.

Good luck!

it depends on how much of the grade your test takes....is this the only test that you bombed?? because as long as this is the only "bad" test, and you keep acing tests, (which i know you will because you're smart because you have a 97% grade) your grade will still remain an A. Turning in extra credit's also good. Good luck in Algebra!!! I hope this helped and encouraged you....
