A Tri-angle can only have 3 interior angles. The sum total of those interior angles always adds up to 180 degrees (unless it is drawn on a curved surface like a globe) Now if one of those 3 angles is 90 degrees then the other 2 angles must split up the remaining 90 degrees. But in order to make a three sided figure the other 2 angles MUST be 45 degrees each. Therefore, a Right triangle is one that always has a single 90 angle and consequently two remaining 45 degree angles. I hope that helps...

If you have a horizontal line (a line going across the floor for example) and you stand a pole upwards from one end of the line so that it is not leaning one way or another then it forms a right angle with the floor. If you join the top of the pole to the other end of the line then you have formed a three sided figure which is known as a right-angled triangle. A right angle is equal to 90 degrees, a quarter of a full circle.

Any triangle that contains a 90 degree angle. E.g one corner looks the same as one corner of a square/rectangle/oblong.

Remember all the angles of a triangle must add up to 180 degrees.
