My story is about a 15 year old girl, who has a fire happen at her house. She escapes the fire, but her mom dies. She feels like the whole world is falling apart, as she has no mom or dad, no siblings and the rest of her family lives in a country far off. Then, her mother's best friend takes her in and later decides to adopt her. As the story progresses, you can see how the relationship between the mom's best friend and the teen girl grows. In the end, it's a happy ending with the girl deciding to educate children about fire safety and sharing her story.

I made this story up by myself so please give me some ideas for a title...something to do with a fire would be good. Thanks for your help!

Maybe "Through the Flames" to show that the girl overcomes her misery and finds good. You're welcome to use that.

The title could be: The sad story about one girl that had a fire in her house.

I write too so maybe

A Fire Can Change A Life

Or if you wrote it almost in diary format the title can be.

How a Fire Changed my Life.

Fires can Hurt

My Step Mother and me

I lost my Mom

(stars name) and a Fire

Optional "How" (Step Moms name) became my Mom

Thats all I can think of, sorry. :( And I didn't come up with any good ones. :( Sorry.

I think you should make the title interesting to read or that may catch a reader's attention; for example, the story "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings"? or "A Boy Named It," which was mentioned by my classmate, she said it was interesting and based on a true story.
