as i said in my other question that we normally say
a bunch of flowers
a flock of paint
a herd of elephants and so on etc.
so now what do i say? here's the sentence can u plz fill in the blanks?
" the girl looked at her ______ of porrige that was nearly the size of a peach."
can u plz tell me the answer? is it a dallop?

What you are describing are collective nouns. A pride of lions, a flock of birds, etc. I can't find a collective noun that applies specifically to porridge, so I'd create one.
Perhaps a plethora of porridge? A plenitude?
Or, to be merely descriptive, saying a portion of porridge would also be fine.
