Quite sure, one can be loving, warmed, kind and even friendly to all which it gives such a person to learn from mistakes, acquired much from others; such qualities mentioned are known as romantics. Yes: It makes you more "enjoy" to go to school.
No: It distracts you from the actual purpose of going to school = learning.

as long as it doesnt hamper ur studies, its okay. a little bit of it is healthy but serious ones r BIG NO NO for me
