My sister is a Kindergarten teacher and they just started the first year of all day Kindergarten so she has a lot more time to fill!! She asked me for ideas of fun activities to do. I suggested everybody just hold hands in a big circle and walk in time to the music, then switch direction and walk the other way, The little one LOVE that. Any other ideas? Art projects? Physical activities? Games?

How can I get my 9 yr. old to stay focused and use her time wisely. She is a straight A student but it takes for ever to complete her homework. She is extremely slow at everything she does, and we are constantly telling her to hurry up. Nothing has seemed to help or motivate her. I hate to see her spend this much time in the evening on work, I would like for her to enjoy her evenings. We're active in 4-H and softball but this is dampering all of our family activites also. Please help!

My little boy got sent out of class today for breaking wind.
I keep chuckling to myself about it, but is it a genuine reason to chuck a 6 year old out of a classroom? He said he tried not to, and said sorry afterwards!
