I'm actually seriously curious here, the parents that have had children in grades 6-12 would know that when sex ed is going to be taught, the school legally needs permission from the parents to have the student enrolled in the class.

I'm actually just wondering why the government feels they need to intervene and actually have the school ask the parents first, has knowledge ever seriously hurt or killed anyone?

If we have to teach our kids then maybie we should be the ones to get 80,000.oo a year, while we work full time jobs as well. I don't know about you people, but I have a full time job as it is and it isn't fair that the teachers give assignments expecting parents to do ther job. Now I am not saying all teachers are like this, but the ones that are shouldn't have a job they can't perform.
