To get a helpful, honest answer from some of these "yaahoos", you are better off asking a "who" instead of a "yes/no" type of question. I know where Irmo is as we live in Charleston. Have grandkids now though. Best wishes in your quest!

I live in Eastern North Carolina and have been out of middle school for a long long time. I hope you are able to hook up with someone from your school though. consider taking out an advertisement on the school bulletin board, or local paper. Maybe a parent or teacher will see it and direct you toward the pen pal you seek.
