Go on with your plan. I admire you for that. As for those who would make fun of you, they are the losers.... so ignore them.
Good luck and God bless!

Just wear the uniform. And don't let any of it get to you. Do your best in school. Once you graduate and go to college and get a good job you won't care about the uniform or not having any clothes, because you'll have enough money then.

Just Young,
You sound mature beyond
your years.
Absolutely wear the uniform
and be proud of it. Make
sure it is always clean and
that you look 'groomed'.
Save your other clothes
for weekends and other occasions.
Maybe make a nice unique
bracelet, delicate,
classy, yourself, that you
wear as your 'signature',
and your lucky charm.
I'm proud of you and
ignore those who are not
worth your time. You
will remember these years
later on and be very proud
for standing up for yourself!
Have a super year at school,
get super grades, and you'll
be on the road to success!

That is a good reason to wear it. Yes ignore them and concentrate on making the best grades you can. If you make A's people will give you money to go to college and after you get your degree and have a good job you can go shopping and buy what you want!

Proudly wear what you have. Being neat and clean is always fashionable. Only very sick people have the time to make fun of people for this reason. You are there to study and learn so ignore these jokers.

If the uniform is a polo shirt and kahki pants or skirt then I see no reason not to wear that it looks good and goes with anything.

if youre not sure then ask your parents and try to contact the school or something...if nothing is through...then wear whatever...if the teachers catch you and you are in trouble...you arent in trouble...just say you felt insecure about to wear one or not....doesnt matter what you wear though
