Hi Wani,

The English language can be a struggle to learn correctly - I've lived in England for 41 years and my grammar is still far from perfect.

From your previous questions and answers I see that you're in Malaysia and I'm assuming English is your second language. Well done on what you've learned so far, you just need some more practice and to expand on what you've already learned.

As has been mentioned, reading is a good way to learn but this only shows you how sentences should be structured. It doesn't explain why or teach you other than by example.

The BBC has an excellent 'Learning Zone' including a whole section on the English language and grammar which you may find useful... http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/

A couple of other sites which may be of interest are... http://esl.fis.edu/students/teanotes/gram.htm and http://esl.about.com/od/grammar/

--------------

As to the way you have worded your question. Always start a sentence with a capital letter and don't use txt speak - 'How to' as opposed to 'how 2'.

'How to...' is ued in an instructive sense, such as 'how to build a dog kennel' or 'how to sew on a button'. When asking a question you would ask 'How do I...' or perhaps 'How can I...' or 'How should I...'

You've also used the words 'our' and 'my' whlst talking about the same subject (yourself). 'Our' refers to more than one person - 'our house' would be the 'house where we live' and 'our favourite TV programme' would be the TV programme that was the favourite of all the people you're referring to.

Because you're asking the question relating to just yourself you should use the words me, my or I. In this case 'How do I improve my grammar...".

In your question you're talking about grammar - something that exists - something that is. As such, your sentence should be structured to read 'my garmmar is bad'.

These are some of the more basic points but don't be put off. Your use of the English language is already very good and everyone reading your question knows what you're asking.

Good luck.

If she can not stay consistent and professional, and in no way manage the employer's promoting initiatives as her own money owed, you'd be compelled to keep her off the account completely

Your local library might have some tools to help you get started. They can lead you to books that can help you as well as let you know of any English courses that are being offered. Lots of local libraries offer free or inexpensive courses in writing, computer skills, etc.

do grammar exercises, listen to grammer tapes, speak English often to your family and friends and get them to correct you on the spot if you are wrong, or you can hire a tutor to teach you.
