I work in a school science department, and none of us can decide which category flies should be in. Are they strictly carnivores, or will they eat anything?

I seriously just want to drop out (I won't, though). I'm in the 11th grade. Is there any alternatives? Home schooling is a no-can-do cause my mom works. Internet school is weird. I can't really transfer, and I refuse to drop out.

In all the time I've been in high school, it's been fine, and I'm a freshman.. In the books I've read, and movies I've watched, they all seem to make it should like the freshman always get beat up, and everyone hates eachother. In my school, everyone gets along, and the age thing doesn't matter... I mean I'm a freshman, and some of my new friends are juniors and seniors, and it's all good. So is it just me or do movies and books over-dramatize things, and how was the whole high school thing for you???

I've noticed that many people who use this site obviously can't spell and yet they don't bother to use the spell check provided. It makes them look ignorant, careless and uneducated. Their questions/ answers are difficult to understand to the point of making them meaningless. Why would they do that?

Back in the Renaissance era, kids (I mean boys) were taught Latin, Greek, and rhetoric and turned out to be fine, educated individuals.

Out of curiousity, would this be harmful or helpful to our generation if we did the same thing? Would they be able to function better as adults in the workforce or be stuck flipping burgers for the rest of their lives?
