Let the length of breadth be x
Length = 3x
Perimeter = (2 x length) + (2 x breadth)
64cm = (2 x 3x) + 2x
64cm = 6x + 2x
64cm = 8x
Therefore x = 8cm
Length = 3x (where x = 8cm)
Therefore Length = 24cm

take breadth = x
therefore, length = 3x
perimeter = 3x + x +3x+x=8 x
find x
therefore x= 64/8=8
length=3 *8=24

letx= breadth/width
3x=length
perimeter of a rectangle= 2l+2w
64=2(3x)+2x
64=6x+2x
64=8x
x=8
3x=24
length is 24.

um the length is 3 times the width?
so 3w=64
w=21.33333
so the length is 63.9999 or 64.
