Maybe there are people out there that just don't realize that spell check is available. Maybe Yahoo should find a way to make it more noticeable.

Whel, furst off, I'm not tryeng to appear educated or knowlegable. I'm just having fuhn. Some people are uneducated and ignorant and spell check won't help those Q and A's; spell check doesn't fix content, logic, or grammar.
Me thinks you take YA too seriously. Me? I'm just trying to see how long it takes to get to a thousand points and how many best answers I can score on the way.
The only time I use spell check is when I give an answer based on my career-based background. It's then that I do care how I am perceived.

It is rather selfish to make us understand some of the strangely spelled questions
I either answer , and hope i have interpreted the question correctly ,
Or i move swiftly on
Why worry
there are an endless supply of questions here that we can decipher easily
Mind you, it is diabolical , when My spell check is" unavailable" as some times happens
Especially when i have written a long and word some answer
ok here goes will the spell check work for me now ?
LOL!
YES!!

Wastes valuable seconds! Must ask as many questions as possible!
Also, many people try to cram as much lingo, abbreviations, emoticons, etc. as possible into their writing. When you do that, the spell check is a pain. Of course, the end result is often barely more than gibberish (and that's an insult to Gibbers everywhere).

Probably because they like to use the "short" way of Internet communication like "u r" etc.
Maybe some have and had far too many words wrong that they gave up. Not to mention the non-US writers, who would get words like colour, honour, litre, etc. marked as incorrect,

Its because most of them don't seek info. They just want to jack with other people so they don't care if their "question" is gibberish.
