I seriously just want to drop out (I won't, though). I'm in the 11th grade. Is there any alternatives? Home schooling is a no-can-do cause my mom works. Internet school is weird. I can't really transfer, and I refuse to drop out.

Fisrt of all, you are not alone in this: many many students hate school, because school actually is a hateful system. It should not be, but it is. The problem with school is that it has to look at the group rather than at the individual. Some people (probably you included) are much affected by this lack of focus on the individual.

Since homeschooling and internet school are out of question for you, then you have to face it: school is the only way to go.

Try to think ahead. Think of your future career and of how your life may depend on it. Don't you think you need a little sacrifice now? Try to make school feed your project. Try to get the best out of it. Be aware that time really flies, and very soon school will be over, and strangely enough you may even find yourself missing it now and then.

I'm glad you are set on staying in school. There are a lot of reasons why students hate the school environment. Pinpoint your reasons and focus on positive change. If you have another year to go, why mess up your grades by being stuck on an attitude. You will only harm your future and jeopardize your secondary opportunities....technical school, college or universities. Focus on what you do well in school and let go of the negatives. LEARN by seeking alternatives, such as working during school hours and getting credit for it. Go to a community college to gain school credits and college credits. Don't sit and do nothing! Seek your interests and then seek outside experiences where you can earn school credits and gain knowledge and independent living or job related experiences. There are alternatives for you to advance and be someone. So seek alternatives to graduate, because you don't have to stay in a classroom all day to do it. Talk to counselors and job experience staff in your school.

Most who hate school either need help or are bored due to lack of a challenge. My son was/is in the second group this advice helped him and I hope it helps someone.
Try to find a passion, something you can get lost in if given a chance then learn how to make a living at it. Don't pay attention to what others think of it just loose yourself in it (when time allows) use the passion as a reward for yourself. My son (who is in 11th also) hated school so we got him into aviation after school through a comm. college and he is now doing better in HS too. He had nothing to look forward before now he is much happier and has something he wants to do after HS. Good Luck!

Find a club, sport or group to join that allows you to explore your interests while continuing to go to school. Try volunteering with a local charity or in a local hospital. What about an evening job? Talk to one of your school counselors or a teacher you trust and see what kind of other opportunities are available in your community for teens. Don't give up and don't quit school. It is a proven fact that those teens who quit school have less earning power than those who graduate---even McDonald's only hires students or graduates! Stay in school and do what you can to make the most of your final days there! It seems like forever, but really, it's just a short time. Try to enjoy it, ok?

LOL...that's how I felt too when I was in school, But then, on the contrary, I deeply miss those times when I used to walk to school with my best friend, some secret sharing, and a life that's without worries of responsibility.
Trust me, you're just in your 11th grade,....by the time you're old enough to realize what you're writing today, You'll laugh at yourself and glad that you're never a dropout!

well why do you want to drop out??-have you ever heard adults say "the best days of your life are at school"-well its true-what you have to remember is your education serves the basis on the quality of your adult life-do you really want to end up in a dead-end job or do you want to be a success-a high flier who's family is proud of her (do you want your mom to go to the neighbours and say guess what my little girl done today ....). your education decrees all this. as for learning at home-you cannot beat having a trained tutor showing you how things work plus do not seriously tell me you will be happy to sit at home for seven hours a day learning-if you are on your own you will go out like anybody would (i would). stick it out at school learn well and think of the successfull life the respect and rewards that come with this life that lie ahead.

You've made it this far which shows me you can make it through the next two years. You might be able to go to Adult High School through a Junior College or something. Otherwise it is probably just best to push yourself and determine that you can and will do this. It sounds like you have the determination in your statement "I refuse to drop out"! YOU CAN DO IT!

Sounds very weird and wonderful... i'd attempt to get city corridor in touch, at that factor. If this bus is on inner maximum belongings, or interfering with inner maximum belongings, your better half's mom would be waiting to get the towing company to take the bus away. And as long as she does not park on the minister's factor, he won't have the ability to do the comparable to her. It sort of relies upon on community rules, however. She may additionally positioned cameras up outdoors, finding on the section the place the vehicles are parked. it would a million) capture all human beings vandalizing, and a pair of) locate out what time of day this minister parks his bus. in case you're able to try this, then she would be allowed to place something contained in the placement- cones, different obstructions- to maintain the bus out, and do away with whilst she comes domicile. That mentioned, I do have confidence that she would have the ability to truly get his butt towed or perhaps sued if he blocks her IN.

Ok, so you love to learn but hate being taught. Thats understandable. A bit like many jobs you may have in your lifetime, responsibility with no athority. Just look at it like "grist for the mill". Keep your head up and stay wide awake. Your very young and have a long life ahead of you. Your fine. Kick *** and have fun.
