I'm applying for University soon. I can't decide between Business and Science...if I go into Science I eventually want to go into medicine. I have the grades to get into medicine, but business just calls to me.

For as long as I can remember I've wanted to be a Doctor, but when I started working part time I always strived to be better, right after I turned eighteen I became the manager of a fast food restaurant and the restaurant just got better and better under my control.

I honestly think I would be great in either profession. I'm torn.

...what do you think I should do?

hello I graduated from college in Dec. 2006

My ending GPA from that university was a 3.05 with 71 credits

I went to a community college prior to that university (in the same state) and received a GPA of 3.44 with 23 credits

and before that community college i had attended a community college in a different state and got a GPA of 3.63 with 49 credits.

almost all my general requirements were done at the 2 community colleges. however, transferring from one state community college to another state's community college I lost quite a few credits.

I am trying to applying for grad school and they're asking for the total GPA, how do I go about implementing those 3 different GPAs into one...
most schools are looking for a 3.00 GPA or above for all 3 years of college. Now i have an ending GPA of 3.05 at the university however I was only there for 2 years and one semester. The remaining years were at community colleges.

How would they count my GPA??

THANK YOU GREATLY!!!!

Please, don't say Parsons. It isnt a real college and you dont get a degree by going there.

Does anyone know of any real colleges that offer good fashion programs?

I'm truly stuck between 3 things... I just don't know what I want to do!! And it seems like everybody else knows exactly where they're headed, and what they want with their life.
I either want to major in English Teacher Education, Social Studies Teacher Education or Music Teacher Education... but asking me to choose between those is like asking me whether I'd rather be deaf or blind... I could never choose! anybody have any advice.. Pros/Cons of each?

A person touches a stove, withdraws his/her hand and yells. Why does the yelling occur after the hand is withdrawn? Does the person become aware of the pain before the hand is withdrawn?

I'm a sophomore Liberal Studies Major. My freshmen year I messed up, I got three C's and the rest were As and Bs.
I can either take a full load for the rest of my time in college and graduate a semester early, or I can take a full load, make up those three GE classes and graduate c.um laude (maybe magna c.um laude).
What's the better option?

seems like it would be quicker and more efficient than taking notes with pen and paper. What do you all think?

They want me to visit. I go to college in the city and live on-campus and I have my parents and married sister in far suburbs. I have used to visit them every 2- 3 weeks on weekends but its little bit hassle, because once I step out to train station in suburbs there is no way to get home without calling my sister or father to drive me. They are sometimes busy and I have to adjust to their schedule. Besides last time when I visited them during family weekend, I did not feel too much comfortable, mainly because my mother use to attack me for errors. For ex, when I walked out church few minutes before end of mass. And when she calls me she always asks me only abt material things, nothing like have I made new friends, do I have fun. And she points that I chose wrong major, despite the fact that I like it and doing good at it, though I would do better if I had better courses in high school. Last time when I went, I hope to get relaxed, get some rest, but actually I got more stressed.

I love social science and am thinking of switching back to it from an undergrade pre-management degree (of which I got into because 1) I like computers and my management field uses them somewhat and 2) everyone tried turning me away from social science saying it paid horribly).

I hate working in the corporate world - I currently am interning in the office & I see a lot of office politics, make large profit, etc... types. I guess I've just always been against working in business for some reason.

I'd like to be a history, psychology, or computer design professor at a college, but I hear they all pay awful and getting tenure is almost impossible now because no college wants to give it. I'd be happy with making between 40k-50k per year, but don't know if I'm OK with only 35k.

Also, what kind of benefits and/or perks come with being a professor in social science or design?

Please help.
