My MBA concentration was in International Business. I took regular business courses (accounting, statistics, etc.) but I took international marketing, international finance, managerial negotiations (at a European school), European industry analysis, and competitive analysis (we used an international company as our case study).

I was also able to take a semester abroad (went to rotterdam School of Management) which was really helpful for the major. I would really recommend it if your school has such a program. I also got to travel around Europe on my own!

My program had also just started study trips (2-3 weeks long), and I took advantage of that as well and went to Japan on one trip and Russia, Hungary and Czech Republic on the second trip.

A language wasn't required in my program but I would recommend having either a European or an Asian language.

Be conscious of your atmosphere ! Have a few foresight ! take the initiative ! That is what being a chief is all approximately homeskillit ! People who crammed the ones positions ago noticed a necessity earlier than hand, they usually acquired after it ! Look round your state and consider of wherein it is going, then you can have a larger notion of what to research. Public admin and American gov might be a well begin ! Don't cross in for all that comaparative & worldwide bullion, you'll cross there later. Do it in your nation, or do not do it in any respect ! And don't forget you desire to be practical, now not only a blank resume, so beginning with the ones fundamentals will deliver you a company foothold, and probably you can get someplace. Maybe ! Good success!
