First of all... you need to get yourself either back in school or test for a GED. Being a plumber is a good profession, but what are you going to do for health insurance? What are you going to do when you retire? You might want to think about these things.
What I would suggest... and this is not for everyone, but it might be for you... Is get back into school, get your diploma or GED. Take your vocational training courses, and do that for 2-4 years. Talk to your local Army Recruiter and talk about getting into the Army Corps of Engineers. Before you ignore me totally, just hear me out. They will put a roof over your head, health insurance, they will feed you, and you can still be a Plumber. They will give you more money for having expirience. If you have kids, they will get all the benefits, a roof over their head. And you can still be a plumber. You'll see yourself change. If you are one of those guys that keeps to themselves or has a low self-esteem problem, the Army can help you do that too. Its not that bad. Some people say... "Oh I couldn't have someone yell and scream at me all day long." its not like that. If you are looking for a career path, and someone to pay for college, the Military offers the Montgomery G.I. Bill. That is college funding for you! Also, the more education you have, the more pay you get, as it goes to promotion points.
Thats just a suggestion, but to each his own.

Sorry, but you have to get your GED which will be you actually finishing your high school on your own and taking a test a GED. After that, you can pretty much pick any state school for whatever field you may be interested in....remember, what may be a "hot field to get in now, may not be in 10 years, so you have to ask yourself--do you want to do something for the rest of your life that you may not love to do but makes you a lot of money OR would you rather spend your days at work enjoying each doing something you LOVE and make just a living...........things to reflect in the next 10 years you are working hard........ps......libraries have cd's on different vocations which explain what they are and what is expected and what they pay, which varies from state to state........good luck to you...........

Pass your GED and start at a community college. Make sure the courses you take will transfer to your university of choice. Starting at a community college is a little cheaper, and you can get your core subjects out of the way. When you are 26, you are considered a non traditional student and are looked up to with respect because of your effort to get more education. You will also be more mature and will understand what it takes to get an education. Good luck.

i imagine that my opinion in this count number might want to carry some weight, because i'm a Witness who's really in a nicely respected technical college in the present day. childrens in college aren't to any extent further SAINTS and almost all of them aren't to any extent further good institutions. the reason why college changed into listed is because it basically encompasses each and every thing else on that record. I really have considered it first hand. The 'little ones' on my campus are, forgive my bluntness, sex crazed, foul mouthed, ungodly, druggies without parental supervision. maximum of them can not talk more advantageous than 5 words with out cursing, and someone can not even walk throughout the front backyard with out wading by piles of cigarettes. And high quality, so by technique of your common sense, then we would want to continuously all also deliver our childrens to strip golf equipment, swingers events and crack houses unsupervised? in spite of everything, that's merely 'preparation to face up to temptation' is it no longer? between the in easy words motives why i'm danger-free is through having the psychological ailment Asperger's, which makes me unsociable and unable to communicate nicely. I basically do not have any choose for 'associates' the following. yet a common human being would have a favor to make associates, and that good favor to be universal receives them into difficulty, jointly with immorality, eating and sex. some Witnesses, like myself because of my ailment or others because of particular adulthood, will be able to handle it. yet others would not. that's why college is a personal determination depending on the guy circumstances of each and every human being.

Get your GED. Most colleges accept that as a high school diploma. Then you can do whatever you want.
