have previously passed health science access course, have 7 years experiance with care of the elderly.

being a paramedic is completely different from being a nurse, there are paramedic programs, you don't have to get a degree to be a paramedic but you CAN get an associates degree in paramedic. check with your local ems agency they would likely be able to refer you to a school or program that you can attend.
my husband has been a paramedic for about a year and a half.
