I'm applying to 10 schools. I want to ask for "another" reccomendation for "an 11th school". However, my true purpose is that I am not going to apply to the 11th school for sure. Is it bad that I use the 11th one to my advantage and open it up to see what my counsler wrote? I was planning to do the same thing with my other teachers.....(tell them to write 11)
I really am curious to see what they wrote!

I live in the Los Angeles Area and am looking to transfer from a Community College to a University or Cal State Spring 2009 (hopefully sooner).

I am looking for a reputable school for Interior Design that I can obtain a BFA in Interior Design/Architecture. I looked at CSUN but they offer a Bachelor's in Family Science which I thought was weird. Of course there is OTIS and PARSONS which I would love to get into but couldn't ever afford.

What options do I have? I need to stay within the area or at least within the State of California as I do not want to pay out of state tuition.

Any advice on schools, financing, scholarships?? I barely have a 3.0 GPA and after this semester it may go down a bit but I do have talent and already am building a pretty decent portfolio. Please share your thoughts....I need advice in a bad way.

Also, do designers have much success with certificates only?

I am graduating with a finance degree and have a 3.5 GPA.....and I still can't find a job!! I have interviewed with quite a few companies and nothing!!! I dress really nice with a suit and tie, and not that it should matter but I am goodlooking, have had work experience, good grades at a pretigious business school And yet still can't land a job unless its a lame financial sales position. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Am I doing something that is turning employers away? I dont know what to do, I am frustrated and am begining to think I worked my *** off the last four years for nothing....college is overrated.

Let's say I have a cumulative gpa of 3.0, a pretty good sat score, only 1 extra curiccular activity, and a one day in school suspension for endangering the health and safety of students for betting them they couldn't eat a spoon full of cinnamon, will i be eligible for a state university college?

thanks

I am going to a 4th tier school since it is good commute, is close, and the campus is gorgeous. However, I checked out its rankings and it is 4th tier. If I get on the Dean's list, stay active, stay involved, get into student governance organizations, join a fraternity, make all A's, be in honors college, and even join some Reserve branch of the military, could I have a just as good a chance and record after graduation as a graduate of a 1st/2nd tier school?

Has anybody ever started college in your 30's? If so what did you major in? How long did it take you to complete your degree? Did you get a better job once you got the degree?

Lately, I've been thinking about going back to school and studying pharmacy. However, was told that you have to be in school for 5 to 6 years to become a pharmacist. I'm 24 now and don't want to make such a long commitment to school. Is there any schools that offer a pharmacy program for less than 5 years?
