Yeah, I love going barefoot! Just so long as there wasn't anything particularly sharp and it didn't get too cold, I'd be set!

Heck, I'd love the chance- back when I was still in school, we got told off by a teacher for walking around barefoot (In summer, on the grass, after classes were over for the day, School went on till 6PM, classes ending about 3, so we'd have long afternoons to bum around in- we were young and carefree, of course we wanted to go barefoot! curse you Shoe-Nazi teacher!)

I'm always barefoot and even before I regularly did that, I have had class that was mandatory barefoot (PE was usually taught barefoot here... although I wasn't that good in sports so I don't think I ever got an A).

But if it was an academic class, anything unrelated to sports, dance etc, then getting an A for showing up barefoot would be so wrong! I want a teacher to grade me for my work and not for what I am or am not wearing. Having a teacher who gives grades for bare feet, or any other frivolous things not related to the studies, would be ground for me to report that teacher and transfer to another class.

Hell I'd go barefoot for an A minus. Yes all semester all the time, day and night, inside outside. I get a good mark and I enjoy having bare feet so I win both ways.

Heck to the yes. Wait a second, how cold is it there, and do you mean take shoes off in class or walk all over campus that way?

Here in Texas that probably wouldn't give you frostbite or anything even in the winter. I am intrigued now is this just a hypothetical question or an actual situation, and if the latter, what are the details?

I went an entire quarter without wearing shoes, other than the sandles I had strapped to my bag for going into shops and the dining hall. It takes some getting used to, and it was spring, but it's not terribly difficult. It's actually a kinda nice feeling. Most people think it's terrible or illegal, but it's not, there are actually several barefoot societies...
Go for it!

yes. It would kind of be hard in the winter. My highschool is separated into 5 buildings so I would have to walk through the snow barefoot. But I could warm them in class because I wouldn't have to do anything if I was guranteed an A.

I knew it you have a deal with the instructor! = )

Haha, only kidding, but I have a class this semester and one guy in the class never wears shoes. I always wondered what was up with that.
