ok so im a junior and when i graduate Im going to head to a college out of my state. (only 4 hours away) but I want to major in Pharmacy and on the schools website it says Pre-Pharmacy under the list of majors? is that what i need to go in to? is that like the first step? I know its a stupid question but one of my friends told me if it doesnt say just PHARMACY under the list of majors then you cant major in it at that college? I hope I didnt confuse you all!! please please help! =)

Pharmacy is not a major. It is a path that you take in order to get into pharmacy school. You might want to visit http://www.GetIntoPharmacySchool.com for more information on how you can get into pharmacy school. Remember only an elect few get in every year, why not get an edge?

Pre-pharmacy is not a major but an advising track. It'll list the common required courses for pharmacy. Pre-pharmacy does not mean they have a full fledged pharmacy program. You should look up 6 year schools.

St johns University is an accredited pharmacy school. Its in NYC if your intrested?

I would suggest that you call the college and find out exactly what classes are necessary to take for you to achieve your goal. They would be the best source for information at this point
