I've only been at my college for 2 weeks and i'm already thinking about transferring. It's a relatively small school and the only thing that people do on weekends is go to these sketchy bars and night clubs. Kids here just seem so immature and I feel like i'm in high school. Can I still enjoy another school if I transfer or is it too late to fit in somewhere else?

For example i want to learn all there is about law, like everything a lawyer would go through but i dont actually want to become a lawyer....does that sound stupid? I live in California, the private ones I know are Cal Tech, Harvey Mudd, and Stanford. The public ones are UCLA and UC Berkeley. MIT is the only one I know outside of CA. What are some other ones?

I am a senior in high school, in the state of Kansas. I have a 3.0 GPA, but have taken all AP, and honors classes thorughout high school. I have a 25 on my ACT and got a 28 on the math section. I have debated for, four years now, and have placed at the state tournent the past two. I have already been accepted into, the University of Texas, and the University of Kansas. Okay,so here is the deal i want to be a nurse that works in the ER,so i went to google&searched up colleges in Long Beach,so i found Long Beach City College emailed them&asked if they did a program for ER Nurses&they replied back saying to call this number,i have not done that yet,but i did go to California State University Long Beach's website&email them asking if they did an ER Nurse Program&they replied back saying;No we don't have a specif class for working in the ER. Ours is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing which is a three year program.
So,what do i do?
Does anyone teach what i want to become?
&what is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing?
is that just a Nurse?&you cant work in the ER?
or what?

righ nw i'm taking reserach in master of science. I've started on may 2003. Can u imagine wht a long time to finish it until nw. It just a waste of time, doing master for 4 years. Actually i got a fussy and particular supervisor which i really depressed. everytime i send the thesis for correction, she will add another labwork to me.this is the 3rd time i send the correction draft thesis, and she still want me to add an experiment and also the way she told me what to do, in a high pitch voice, screaming and yelling. i dont knw waht's wrong with her.She want the result very fast, which make me just wrote the figure in the thesis without doing it. I'm fedup with my master and one more thing i have to pay the fees coz the tutorship is ended on 2005. For 2years i'm paying fees which cost me about USD1800. I think i want to move on to the real life. quit master. if i really wanted master in my hand, one day i will, but not in research. it's sucks. what do you think?

In high school it used to be so easy to go home and finish all of my homework for the next day. I'm in college now and things are usually do for the next week. There are so many distractions like friends and activities on campus I never seem to want to do my work. I know my grades will suffer for it but can you tell me something that will help?
