For example i want to learn all there is about law, like everything a lawyer would go through but i dont actually want to become a lawyer....does that sound stupid? I'm just an information nerd and i wanna know a lot about everything...

Not at all stupid. There are a lot of lawyers who don't practice law. I went back to law school a few years ago. I'm a college professor and had no intention of changing careers, but knowing about the law has come in handy in so many areas in life. I think it's great that you have an intellectual curiosity; don't ever lose it!
