Pretty staight foward I'm curently going to the university and I want to graduate before 2010 problem is I just started...
I calculated that taking 2 extra classes on top of my regular 5 including in summer will allow me to graduate my 4 year degree in 2 years

my school offers night school and saturday school for people that have jobs so they can accomidate them but I'm welcome to take them as well.

any ideas on my idea?

pretty much I go back to my country in early 2010 and my school is payed for until then and my country has terrible school so I want to finish before I leave.

I have no job and I don't mind the extra work is quite a boring place where I live anyway.

I'm not failing. I'm actually a really good student... I'm just not happy. I don't think that college is where I want to be. I'd much rather be working. I might go back to college eventually, but for now, I just don't feel like I'm in the right place. Should I leave? It's early enough in the semester that if I withdrew, I could get most of my money back. Has anyone had experience with this, and if so, how'd it go? Thanks.

I have an opinion question....First of all I currently reside in Maine. I have almost 2 years left of school, not even. My plans after high school are college, and exploring what's out there! I want to move to Hayward California because of California State University: East Bay. It's a good school for what I want to study and it's in California. Then again, what if I don't get into college. I still want to move there with my best friend and get an apartment together. I can find a job and wait a year or find a community college or IDK? What are my other options out there if I don't get into the college i want to go to. I know most of you might say I got a long way to go, but I don't. It's coming soon......What should i do if I want to live that life after high school?

Hi! I am a senior with a 4.1 GPA, 1940 on the SAT, and 32 on the ACT. I am going to retake the ACT to see if I can score any higher, and possibly try to just send in those scores. What do you think my chances are at Georgetown, Northwestern, and Cornell University?

Those are my top 3, but I'm wondering how my chances are? Any help would be most appreciated! Thanks!

I'm seriously asking this because I am about to embark on a 2 year MA in Secondary Education (social sciences) and hopefully teach my specialised subject after I graduate. I am American, my degree is in Australia where I hope to settle. Getting a BA in your teaching subject is the standard thing to do (so I have 29k in undergraduate loan debt I am paying off) and I wouldn't be able to get the proper visa w/out staying 2 years.

When I am finished I'll have about 80k in total student loan debt, and no true guarantee of finding work or being allowed to stay in Oz---I am so anxious about this. I imagine repayment consolidated will be around 600$ a month.

Did you got to graduate school only to regret it or am will this gamble pay off? What have your experiences been?

Thanks***

I'm thinking about going to medical school and getting an MD. My major in college was Statistics with an emphasis on business. Everyone is telling me that with my background I should be getting an MD/MBA. But whenever I hear about getting an MBA I keep hearing that it's useless, that compnaies rely more on experience than degrees. Does anyone here have any experiences of getting an MBA and is it worth it? Also I know that if one gets an MD/PH.D school is technically free because you get so many scholarships and fellowships without even asking. Anyone know if that's true with an MD/MBA?

Does a student have to have already a degree in order to get their certificate? For example, if I graduate with a Bachelors in Economics and want to get my certificate for a different major like computer science. Or there's no requirement for the certificate other than taking the core courses?

Thanks.

I am working on completing my bach. in structural/electrical engineering (i have an assoc. in science). See my situation is that i am in a community college and I am doing very well....currently i have a GPA of 3.75 and by th end of the semester over 60 hours done......well my problem is that i am undocumented hence all the expenses are mine nt a community colleg minimal exp, but in a 4yr its multiplies by like 5+ i do have a scholarship and its not nearly enough to pay for everything, i don't wanna go part time, my family has a low income and we basically live pay check to paycheck, i do work but i help out home with the bills.... i am hoping someone can suggest a school that has my interests and the help i need financially.... please stick to IL cause i at least qualify for instate tuition...there are scholarship available yes i know but the most i have found are for incoming freshman and those who don't have CITZN as a requirement are usually less than 1,000....help anyone?

I'm really trying hard to bring up my GPA. It is only a 2.63. I am trying to get at least a 3.0 by the time I graduate but what if I don't? What are my chances of getting a good job with such a crappy GPA? I am really involved in school, I am a resident assistant, a member of SIFE which is sort of a business club and an array of other activities. I feel like this is my last shot and I need to make it. I am really worried and I want things to work out. I am trying to see if maybe I could get an internship during Christmas break and also try to take some classes to bring up my GPA even more. I am thinking of getting into advertising but I am not really sure, I really just need someone to answer this question and give me some suggestions on what to do before it is too late. Please I will take all the suggestions that you have. Is it too late for me to bring up my GPA, probably so, I guess I will just have to live with this failure or just try to stop living in the past. Please help.

I picked up a school catalog at school, and have always had an interest in law; but never gave it a second shot. I have an interest in all the courses that the catalog mentions lawyers should have, many of them, I've taken from self study books, the dummies series, the DIY stuff. How do I get from a school with a low GPA, to a law school?
