Ok, so it is pretty much a dream of mine to serve in the United States government whether it be in congress, or abroad. But it also a dream of mine to work ina large recording studio such as Universal Music Group, and Sony BMG.

Knowing that, do you think it would be a good idea for me to attend the Edmund A Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and pursue an MBA in international business? My future is very important to me; not just my love for my job, but equally as important my future salary. So would you think that completeing degrees in these fields would land me a substantial (6 figure) salary?

Also, if you have any idea where I may be able to recieve some serious counseling about my future and making the right decisions, please share.

I'm currently an Undergrad student with a double major in Mathematics and Biology, and also doing Pre-Med. I do want to go to Med School, but I also really enjoy math and want to definitely continue math in grad school.

The thing is, I don't want to be limited to just one of the two - is it possible to do both simultaneously? Maybe there's a med school that also offers a dual degree in Math with a grad school or something along those lines?

(I can't tell you how much I appreciate any help or advice on this, so thanks ahead of time.)

Anyone know what the difference is between a State College, Community College, and a University?? A college that I recently applied to has changed from a state college to a university. I am guessing this is good, or is it any different?

I'm currently a freshman (honors student) at Valparaiso University, and am in the engineering program, which is ranked top 15% in non-doctoral universities in the Midwest (out of over 200). Anybody have an idea of what GPA I'd need to be considered a prime grad school candidate at, say Northwestern University, or even the University of Michigan?

I want to be a social worker but that degree is not offered at my University. The difference between the BS and BA at my school is that in a BS you will minor in a science and a BA in an art. I would like to minor in a language but I hear BA's are not as lucrative as BS's. I know I will probably need a master's eventually as well. So what do you think?

hello. I am currently a senior in High School. I will soon have to apply to the colleges of my choice after i retake the SAT. I want to become a veterinarian and i don't care how long it takes. But, the problem is that i did not work hard as i should have. I am planning to go into a transfer program and transfer maybe to UC davis for veterinary medicine. I have researched about Santa Monica College and it is said that it is easier to transfer to UC davis from there. Would transferring from a Cal state be more of a challenge? please help. I am going to make an appointment to talk to my counselor and also call UC davis.

thanks =)
