I've just seen my exam timetable for this semester and it is horrible! I have 4 exams in 3 days two of which are for law subjects and are VERY hard. I'm soooo stressed now, even though exams aren't for another month. has anyone else had this problem? any pointers?

Right now I'm just taking preliminary classes required for general education before I start taking business classes (my major is finance) and my classes are very easy. I want to know what I'll be learning at the upper levels but sometimes it's hard to teach myself concepts if I don't have any outside help. I try my best to understand what I need to know before I go into a class but sometimes I can't understand without a teacher. (Is this normal?) In a way, I don't feel very smart not knowing much about what I will learn in my upcoming classes (since I'm not in them yet) and I feel like I should know everything already. How can I have more realistic expectations for myself?

I live in a very stressful enviorment, MY mom and dad are always putting the heat on me, They want me to do community college full time while working a full time job, They are also really agressive and always get mad at me although iam just trying to help. theres alot of alcoholism in my family, and Iam really feeling the brunt of it. I want to go to school, but I cant afford it, Iam not even sure I have the time for it, plus no one will accept me, I have a 3.5 GPA, and was in three national honor societies, and was an eagle scout. I was thinking about about getting in to a 4 year college and take a loan to get away from here and just concentrate on my schooling, as that would not be possible here at the community level living with my parents any suggestions?

Here's what I know for a fact.....I want to go to Medical school.

Unfortunattley, some of the realities of med school is the fact that not everyone gets in...and things can go wrong (bad score on mcats..etc.)

I figured I'd choose Biology as my major next year (i'll be a freshman at the University of Illinois in Chicago). However, my dad told me that I should pick something else because there's not alot you can do with just a biology major (i'm a fun outgoing girl so no one can see my sitting in a lab doing research).

A girl I was talking to the other day also brought up a point: Medical Schools look alot at your GPA....she said biology is tough and takes a lot of studying...so I should consider choosing an "easy" major to have a high g.p.a (she gave me examples such as psychology, sociology...) She also advised that I should choose something I like rather then choose something that I think will just help me in med school because she said undergrad is to enjoy yourself.

I have a 94.5 GPA. I am in a few clubs at my school and play basketball! I don't want to play bball in college tho. I am a very good student and would like to go to college for journalism or maybe sports management but i'm not really sure yet. I get very good grades the reason my gpa is low is because i slacked off in my freshman year and am still bringing it up! I will be taking the sats soon and i am hoping to atleast get in the mid to high 1000s...i'm hoping for atleast an 1800...my main schools are penn state, university of north carolina, duquesne, west virginia, boston college, and st. joseph! btw i'm a junior in high school and i'm an hoping to have my gpa to atleast a 95 by the time i graduate...and my high school is very well known for being a great school its actually one of the best in the area and the state!

I am so planning on CLEPing out of as many college subjects as possible. like all the core subjects, the ones you have to take (unless you CLEP out) and then just take electives... ya know? Anyway, is there any way i can start now? like are there any sites that have tests similar to the ones for CLEP?
anything i can do to "get credit" for college subjects so i dont have to take like math, english, history, etc and just take the courses i want to take?
and how early can i start CLEPing? i am a junior in high school
clep help please

Also what programs do you think are best for doing online....I am open to any ideas. I would like something labor intensive after I 'graduate'...and I am not afraid to to a "man's" job. I apologize in advance if I have offended anyone.
