ok, I've decided i want to be an editor. Not sure what type yet. What college courses would i need to take and what would my major be called? Any recommendations for good colleges who offer these courses? Please and thank you!!!

I'm assuming you mean book or magazine editor. You can really major in anything, but the best ones would be journalism or english. I think the best journalism schools are USC, Columbia, and NYU. TONS of schools are great in english...can't list them all!

English major and/or journalism minor. The first will give you the spectrum of working with the language. Journalism will teach you editing to another standard. With both, you should be covered for a variety of applications.
