My university just switched to semesters from quarters. I am suppose to graduate in May of 2008 but I need to come up with 9 elective hours to graduate. I was wondering if there was any kind of program or certification (such as first aid) that I can take, outside of my university, for college credits. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!

Check with your academic counselor. Many schools accept transfer work from other institutions, but ,many require that the last 50% or so be done at their school in order to get a degree from them. That prevents people from diluting the value of the degree. If you did some work at Podunk U, some more at Pigskin College, some other classes at Wassamatta U, then did the last 2 semesters at Yale or Harvard, odds are that people soon won't have much respect for their graduates.

The academic advisor will have the best answer for you.
