I have an opinion question....First of all I currently reside in Maine. I have almost 2 years left of school, not even. My plans after high school are college, and exploring what's out there! I want to move to Hayward California because of California State University: East Bay. It's a good school for what I want to study and it's in California. Then again, what if I don't get into college. I still want to move there with my best friend and get an apartment together. I can find a job and wait a year or find a community college or IDK? What are my other options out there if I don't get into the college i want to go to. I know most of you might say I got a long way to go, but I don't. It's coming soon......What should i do if I want to live that life after high school?

You know, you should look for backup schools preferably in California because what happens to a lot of people is that they wait the year and get a job and then life takes hold and they never go back to school or go back years and years later. One thing I am glad I did was continue the momentum of going to school right into college.

There are plenty of schools in california too, so you should be able to find a backup school. I rather have an alternative school than stop going all together.

Or you can invest in the stock market, double triple quadruple the money you started with so that you can have money for community college for 2 years and university for 2 years.

there are a lot of community colleges in CA and they are cheap and transfering to a university isn't that hard...i honestly think a junior college is great because it makes that transition from high school to college a lot less daunting
